We were there for a Border Patrol graduation so only one night. We found the place to be very nice, clean, and the staff was very accommodating. The only thing I would add would be an elevator. Breakfast was very nice also. My husband left his ""sound machine"" (he says it helps him sleep *s*) and when we called they said they would put it in the mail which they did at no cost to us. We appreciate it very much!

Carlsbad Caverns visit
05/13/2007Not close to the caverns but far superior to anything we saw in carlsbad and especially whites city. it is worth the long drive.

Friendly staff, reasonably clean rooms, small exercise facility, decent continental breakfast. No PPV movies or swimming pool. No smoking (I don't but some do). Price is high for what is offered, but choices are slim in Artesia."
