Ithere were reservations about going to an older hotel but it paid off. yes, the carpets wer older, ditto on the wall paper but it was C-L-E-A-N and roomy as most old hotel rooms are. we were in room 155 which was on the farthest end. this room led right out the the giant pool gates. if you have a little one, there is a 1ft. baby pool. the pool was the crowning glory it was not like those new hotel small pools it was nice and deep. the mattresses were basic and the furnishings were dated. overall, the people were nice, we did not have noisy neighbors, the shower head was new, the room was larger than average, a/c unit was new and again CLEAN!. you can walk to KFC, Filling station and Long Johns. you have to get on the road for Cracker Barrel. Go to the restaurant in the hotel for breakfast. I dont remember the name but you wont be dissapointed. Cave City itself is old and dated, dont go with Expectations and you will have a great time at this wonder older GEM. (only downfall was pop machines were always out or needed exact change)

Cave City doesn't have many places to choose from, but after reading reviews available for this and other motels I decided to stay at Americas Best. Overall, it wasn't that bad. But it was really, really outdated. The furniture was in really good shape, but looked like it was the original. The TV was really small. All of this stuff is just cosmetic and I was able to overlook it because our room was really clean for being so old. It appeared that some rooms were being worked on, so maybe they are in the process of upgrading. The staff was very friendly and showed us some of that ""southern hospitality"". The attached restaurant had a pretty good meal.

Friendly, Helpful staff. Nice room - fairly recent complete renovation - new tub, tile, fixtures, tile floor, commode, sink, fixtures, wall coverings. Sink in alcove separate from bathroom. Inside hallways. Convenient outside access through patio door for loading, unloading. Pet fee was $15.

I was married on 03 17 07 and had reservations in Smiths Grove, Ky at the Cave Spring Farm B and B. Once we arrived at the B and B we found out they had given our cabin away for the 2nd time, We had know place to stay. We went to the Days Inn and they done everything they could to make our honeymoon right. With the help of my brother and sister in law. We will always remember the help they (hotel and family) give us. Thanks.

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniverary, so since we stayed here on our honeymoon, we decided to celebrate here once again. We had a wonderful stay. Great value, even iif it is a little older.
