  Holiday Inn Express in Jamestown ND was immediately off Highway I-94. We had a nicely appointed beige room with blue carpeting. Cherrywood furnishings included a desk with an upholstered office chair, a three-drawer chest supporting a wide-screen TV, a table with two chairs, and two VERY comfortable queen beds. The bathroom was spacious and clean. There is an indoor walk-in swimming pool and a hot tub. Extra towels are left at the pool, so room towels aren't needed. Tourism information was provided in the room in a binder. The staff were friendly. Breakfast varied slightly with scrambled eggs some days and biscuits and gravy other days. Breakfast constants included coffee, apple juice, orange juice, boiled eggs, toast, bagels, English muffins, three kinds of muffins, peanut butter, jams, Fruit Loops, Raisin Bran, Cheerios, milk. The breakfast attendant stayed busy, refilling selections.

  My wife and I stayed here during the Jamestown College Homecomming. We both went to College in Jamestown and have been to a few hotel parties in this city, but none at the Holiday Inn, we weren't sure if it was going to be just another run-down hotel like the others in Jamestown, ND. To our suprise it was a very clean, and quiet Hotel, we didn't smell any smoke which was suprising to us because of the college parties we had been to at other hotels. We were treated as welcomed guests, and not as an inconvenience to the desk clerk. The room was very quiet, and we both got a great sleep. Believe me when I say that this place is the best you will find in Jamestown...sure you can spend less money at some of the other cheaper places, but you will run into drunk, obnoxious college students who are only there for a party. Best in Jamestown
