Having stayed at other Holiday Inn Express, I was surprised that the housekeeping in this particular hotel was not to the same standard as the others. There was four of us in the room, my husband and I and our two teenagers. We were there three nights, yet every night we had to go get a set of towels because they would only leave 3. Our bathroom was not cleaned except for dumping the trash. Our disposable cups were not replaced and the beds looked like my kids made them and not the housekeeper. The workout room had no air conditioner and the fan had been taken out. The machines were old and the key for the treadmill kept falling off. When we mentioned the housekeeping problem at the front desk, they didn't offer to make it better or even mention it to housekeeping. They excused it because of the construction that was going on. Yes, there was construction going on, but that didn't bother us as much as a dirty bathroom.

Clean, modern room with very comfortable beds. The staff were all extremely friendly & helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Nice continental breakfast, but no hot items. GREAT place to stay for travelers passing through or spending some time in Abilene!

I READ OTHER REVIEWS ON THIS HOTEL AND IT WAS THE BEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT THEY HAVE NEW BEDDING AND VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE GREAT FOR BUSINESS OR PLEASURE

Upon pulling dresser away from wall to access a plug I found someone's underwear. Bedding needs updating (bedspreads are worn and beds were too firm). While our reservation was prepaid, the hotel computer made an error in trying to charge us again when I checked out.
