When planning a trip to Mexico, if you're planning on having Fine dining....Then go to NY instead. You're going to Mexico for the weather & beaches. We went from Aug 3rd to Aug 8th. This Resort was by no means a disappointment!!! The resort, staff and location couldn't have been better. The rooms were spotless and Everyday we had clean sheets, towels and the mini bar restocked! I suggest leaving $2 everyday as a tip...it goes a long way to someone that makes $6-$8 per Day! And let me just add....there were staff at this resort that worked unlike anyone i've ever met!!! 14-16 hour days and Always smiling! The mexican/mayan people are Amazing!!! The beach was perfect setting, tempature and aqua blue. The beach was not rocky like the resorts just to the left of us, and you could snorkle 3 feet into the water and be surronded by 1000's of fish. Truley Amazing!!!! I suggest upgrading to the Ocean view rooms for the xtra $8 per night! We would open our balcony doors, step right out onto the beach sand, and the ocean wasn't even 20 more feet away!!! Now just so you don't think that this place was perfect. We didn't have A/C in our room one night....but neither did the rest of the hotel. It was fixed the next day! We didn't get our hammock for our balcony until the second to last day, no big deal though...only used it once. The showers were not hot....Thank god! You would have started sweating instantly anyway. I'm very pleased with this resort and all the staff! I highly recomend it!!!!

we went to this hotel because the travel agent said the this hotel was the best and she was rigth, until they offer the transfer to the grand oasis cancun . the grand oasis cancun was dirty and the staff was not to happy probably it was to many people, but over all the grand oasis riviera maya is the best.!!!

i arrived jan20 i paid for a pool garden room for 8 nights i got a room i had to take van to beach van to rest the place is no good oasis is bad took a 3 hour ride to the resort i will never go to a oasis resorts at all again

My daughter and I have stayed here twice and we love it ! Its always clean and people are very friendly and the food is great. LOVE the fresh fruit and fish. They have also worked with us on our stay. I am getting married and we plan on coming here to stay. Can't wait to show him alittle peice of heaven. Great job !!!!

Rooms were ot ready upon arrival. No valet service. Toilet did not work. Room lock was broken. A/C did not work. Staff was NOT helpful. View was excellent. However, a stench came up from the beach and it was not good! Would not stay there again....ever.
