I was travelling with my 13 Y.O. son, and had advance reservations.. We arrived late (about 1AM), it was easy to find the sign off the freeeway, as the hotel is up a hill and not obvious from the road. The night clerk was very courteous, and we didn't have to wait at the outside window for but a few seconds for him. Our room was just ""okay"". It is one of the older Days Inn's, our beds were hard and the towels are getting thin. The area was quiet. Almost everything worked and the room was clean enough. We only stayed one night, didn't use the outdoor pool or hottub. The front desk manager in the morning was friendly, too. We ate breakfast at a restaurant, rather than have the small continental breakfast. We chose this hotel because it was the lowest price. If I stay near Colbin, KY again, I'd probably pay a little more and choose a different hotel.
