I don't even know where to start about this resort. We were at the resort from June 30th - July 2nd, 2009. If you're going for the ""camping"" experience (even within a room in the lodge), than it's so-so. If you're going expecting a nice resort, than it's a big let down. It is completely out of the way from anything or a city. There is some hiking around which had very nice views (on the ski trails). The golfing is also nice with some wildlife to see/watch. The restaurants had pretty bad food & was incredibly plain. Decorated kind of like a seniors residence. Can be packed full of children in the summer (made it horribly noisy) especially in the hot springs pools (which you need to pay for). There is one small round pool for guests that is free of charge which is a hot spring (at 39 degrees C). The gym is a waste of time (equipment is ancient & hardly any of it). The one thing that was good in close proximity was the restaurant called Hoodoo's Grill which was a 3 minute drive up the road which is definitely worth a visit if you are staying here. However, I definitely will not return.
