  The room was a little outdated and rustic, but it appears they are doing facelift renovations on the hotel so hopefully it will be nicer in the future. The beach, however, was amazing. I would say the best on the South Coast. You can snorkel with the turtles they come that close to shore. AMAZING SUNRISES AND SUNSETS!

  My husband and I go to Barbados every year,and for the last 5 years we have stayed at Southern Palms. We love the location (In the Gap) a multitude of cuisine.. The staff is always friendly and effiecient..They have 2 pools, 1 for the family and 1 for adults only.If your looking for posh,posh this isnt the place . If your looking for relaxing, clean and reasonable this is the spot.... Location is perfect, scenery is unbeatable,staff is great . We highly recommend The Southern Palms.
