  I came to Detroit for a Tigers/Twins baseball game. I was looking for a hotel in Detroit or very close. I found the Sleep Inn & Suites that was just outside of the city, less than 15 minutes from the stadium. The rooms were clean, which was most important to me. The hotel was much cheaper than ones in downtown Detroit and turned out to be a real value. I enjoyed my time in Detroit and will plan on coming back next year and staying with the same hotel.

  We were lookign for a place close to downtown detroit for a good price. This hotel is right off of I-75 and just a quick ride to downtown detroit and the Henry Ford Museum. The hotel staf was pleasant and the rooms were pretty comfortable. The continental breakfast was good enough to get your day started. Overall it was a good hotel, for a very good price. I would come back in the future.

• NOISY TRAINS

  THE HOTEL WAS OK BUT IT WAS ONE THING THAT REALLY MAD ME MAD. I STAYED ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND THE HOTEL IS BUILT BY A RR TRACK AND THE RR IS NOT EVEN 100 FEET FROM THE HOTEL AND YOU CAN SEE AND HEAR TRAINS ALL NIGHT LONG. SHOWER CURTAIN SMELLED
