  My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Lido last May (2008) and we couldn't have asked for anything more, especially for the price we paid. The room was clean and ready for us when we arrived, the lady at the front desk was so incredibly kind and helpful, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and very good, the pool was lovely, and our room was always cleaned up with fresh towels waiting for us when we arrived back from a day of sight seeing. We were able to walk to the train station to take us anywhere we wanted to go, and the casino was definitely within close walking distance...we're from NYC so we're used to walking, but seriously, it was a quick walk.

  First of all the picture posted is not a picture of the hotel we stayed at. The rooms were dirty and when we asked for clean sheets we were supposed to wait to morning. Lucky we didn't sleep there the first night but the next day when we returned they still had not been changed. Even though we did not go the casino I can definitely tell you it's not ""two steps away"" but more like a few blocks away. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay then I stay here but don't expect much.
