Totally Exceeded Expectations

I got this room very cheaply (as I booked it the night before), and so I wasn't expecting too much. But what I received was far better than anything I could have asked for. It was totally immaculate (which is a big compliment coming from me...I'm a neat freak when it comes to things like hotels), and the bed was uber-comfortable. The bathroom was granite (or maybe marble, I can't remember) and I was so impressed with the teak floors. To top it off, the service was excellent. I was probably greeted 6 times by the house-keeping staff on my way downstairs. The Concierge was so helpful, too. And the view of the mountains is incredible. The only thing I would have changed about the hotel is its location. THe hotel is conveniently close to the airport, but as I came in from the train station, I would have preferred something closer to either the station or the old town. But a taxi was only 8 Euro into the Old Town, and there was a bus-stop within 100 meters of the hotel. I think a day-pass was 3 Euros or something. Oh, and the shower was phenomenal. Great water-pressure. I'll definitely stay there again.
