  Hotel might be good for business but not family travel. We traveled with 2 young kids and specifically looked for hotel with pool. Prepaid a family package that included kids meals but restaurnant was unaware of package and had to deal with manager each time. Breakfast was a buffet mostly empty and all food geared toward dieting adults. Kids split a bagle and cup of strawberries, for this they want to charge full price. Pool heater was broken, but managment said still safe to swim. Maybe for adults but children were shaking in 10 minutes. Pool room wasn't even warmed, it was same air conditioning as rest of hotel. I asked when it would be fixed, they said next day, so we stayed. When I asked next day, they said next week. I'm not trying to be picky, but tried to explain that we chose hotel specifically for pool, kids need activity. They've been in car for most of the day traveling. When I asked to be changed to another Mariott in the area with pool, they wouldn't do it because our package was prepaid. The price/day was same, but they didn't know how to issue refund. I didn't want refund, just a room with a pool that worked. I didn't understand why this accomodation couldn't be made if it were the same chain. Internet pictures also make the hotel look as though there is plenty of outdoor space - but it's not. It's along a busy suburban highway, no side walks, just a big parking lot. No where for kids to play or walk safely. Suggestion: don't do family package - better to get hotel with fridge or kit suite to keep kids fed. Never prepay - there's no working with you even if they can't follow through.
