My husband and I stayed at the Bella Vista for a weekend getaway with another couple. We stayed in the Governers suite which was perfect for our needs. It had 2 private bedrooms and 2 full baths and it had plenty of room for all of us. The private balcony and view of the lake were awesome!! Even though the weather was not great, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We parked our car at check in and didn't get back in the car until we left for home! I read some reviews that complained about the breakfast, but I was very impressed with the variety of items in our breakfast basket. If you're looking for a cooked to order breakfast, this isn't it - but there were great muffins, croisants, breads, apples and small juice cups. It was nice that it was right outside your door in the morning - so you didn't even have to get dressed to go and pick it up! Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to find a great deal on our stay ($249 a night) and for that price, it was an excellent trip. There were some minor issues that could use improvement (missing tiles on the balcony, had bar area downstairs, but was never open during our stay, small TV's) but overall, it was a great place to stay (probably more for couples/adults - not much to do for kids). My husband and I will definately be back!

The prettiest hotel on the lake. View would be beautiful if you had a lakeside view. We saved money and took the parking lot view. Nice room though. Great hotel staff. Lobby could be a little more inviting.
