  We stayed at this motel for one night. We arrived very late in the evening and the front desk person was pleasant and understanding. I loved the location, it was close enough to the freeway but far enough away so you didn't hear any road noise. My real problem was the condition of the room. The first room we were in smelled like old food (BBQ?) and the carpets seemed greasy, smelly and dirty as my white socks that turned dark brown can attest to. I also smelled cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. I talked with the front desk person and we moved to the room next door. It was much better even though there was a slight cigarette smoke smell, it was late so it was fine. The beds are okay, not too comfortable. The shower could have been cleaner, dark mildew corners. Check out was easy. We didn't eat breakfast there, the dining room was empty. We saw no one, customers or service people so we decided to eat breakfast in town.

  At night the place is alive with people at their indoor bar while the pool is located near the courtyard and is lighted to be the most tranquil pool I've ever seen at night. The only bad thing I have to say about the place is that its in the middle of nowhere and the dining staff during the morning shift was not very pleasant. The pool at night is worth it!

  What was good: location, meals, pool, workout room. what was okay: hottub (water way too hot, weird). what was very bad: no elevator? housekeeping was horrible. stained sheets, not enough ...
