This hotel has a very unusual layout. The rooms are ""motel style"", and the layout is large and rambling. It was kind of like someone bought a motel, then decided to attach 2 more motels to it, then decided they wanted a resort so they added on work-out ammenities. The rooms are larger motel rooms, clean and basic, ours had a porch. The comforters on the bed were the thinnest I have ever seen, and the heat was very loud - no extra blankets in the room - Odd for Canada. The free breakfast was small - the usual continental breakfast fare, nothing to write home about. The employees were very friendly and there was an indoor basketball court, indoor squash court, indoor pool (saltwater??), indoor hot tub, weight room and a cardio room. All were in OK condition. This is a great place to stay if you do not plan on spending much time in your room, or if you have children (or are a fitness buff) and need something to do during your stay. All-in-all a basic motel with some strange amenities attached.

The stay was very enjoyable and the hospitality unsurpassed. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the price was 2/3 that of the Holiday Inn Express next door. Our room was clean, quiet and smelled fresh. The included breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently had to go to Gananoque for personal business and found the resort to be a wonderful place to stay. The staff went beyond the call of duty to make our stay as comfortable as possible and the hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and well stocked and the bed was very firm (which I liked) and provided a good night's sleep.
