This hotel was a disappointment. The price was only $15 less than the much nicer hotels we stayed in on our trip. There were only a few cars when we checked in and that should have been a clue. The room smelled STALE, the bedding was old, the amenities (there were none), the staff was hard to find. I tried to use the guest computer in the lobby (the computer was about 10 feet from the front desk) and could not get help logging on. The morning staff was nowhere to be found much of the morning (breakfast was about 10 feet from the desk another person had to wait awhile to get creamer for the coffee) and when they showed up they could not clearly communicate the password to log on. I finally gave up. I chose this hotel because it was not pet friendly and most of the others were. I didn't want to risk a room with pet odors. The room at this hotel smelled anyway - I stayed at 4 different hotels on this trip and this was the only time I noticed an odor in a room.

Our stay here was a via point on a 9 day road trip. We were on a budget so I went with this hotel. Everyone was very nice and there was plenty to do within a decent distance to DC. I understand that you get what you pay for. Although it was clean, it was a ""tired and worn"" place. Towels and linens were almost threadbare. The ""fitness center"" had a treadmill, a bike, and a stairstepper. Beds weren't that comfortable. But for the area it was inexpensive. If you're on a tight budget and want to go to the DC area then it should be fine but don't expect a lot.

The motel was a little hard to find and the area around it didn't look that great but we felt safe. The grounds of the motel were nice and clean. The room was very nice and spotless. The room was very large and the bath was nice. I would stay there again. The staff was helpful. The only negative thing is the coke machine was empty and the soap dispenser for the washer was empty but the motel clerk gave me my money back. There was a great resturant down the road that was recommended by the motel and they were right on the money. It was very quite and we got the rest we needed. The room had a microwave and mini fridge which was nice. One point I want to make is that I was very impressed with the honesty of the cleaning staff. I left my cell phone and some change on the night stand one day and it was still there when I got back.

My ladyfriend and I stayed for three nights during a Civil War Battlefield tour of the area. Heavy traffic delays getting to DC were expected, though, but other destinations were fine - so, this could be a good all-around location. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, with good staff. We requested extra pillows and they were promptly delivered. I didn't pack a razor and the front desk had them gratis. Nice to have the fridge and the microwave. I found a good local Diner a mile or so south of the property (for those who get tired of all the chain fast food one gets on an economy vacation). I travel a great deal in my job and my judgment is this hotel is a bit better than the typical. I'll make a reservation here for my next visit in the fall (I wish Travel agency would permit multiple hotel reservations, though). :)

Clean Hotel, Very friendly staff. My Value worth on my Business trip, Room was very well clean everyday. Bed was comfortable and room was very large. Refrigerator and Microwave was an advantage for traveler like me. Internet worked very well. Staff also helped me to print direction and boarding pass. Will definatly stay here again
