Outdated and Rude

I've stayed here pre-internet times. I decided to give them another chance, but once again, they disappointed me. The rooms were way outdated, the halls stunk like garbage, and the staff were very, very rude! From the start, the staff at the desk were rude, and argued with me about the name on the reservation. She had to check the "paper copy" of the reservation, and then realized that I was right. She didn't even applogize to me for being wrong when I was right. Then going to our room, they put us in a room with one bed, with four people that was not going to work. After returning to the front desk, once again the same person was arguementive, and once again I was right about the reservation. Did she appologize this time? nope. Then two days later, without any housekeeping to change the sheets (after numerous requests) the housekeeper comes and tells us that she has us checking out today. The original reservation had us staying until Saturday, this was Friday. I then returned to the front desk, and lo and behold the same person was there. And again was very arguementive about the reservation. I was told for another $69 I would have to move my family to another room. Needless to say, it did not happen and we left and returned home early. Please do not stay here ever!!!!!

Great Place for winter fun!

We just got back from a 3 day stay. The front desk was very accomadating the food and service in the sports bar was Great! The snowmobile trails are opening this weekend and I'm going to come back after the holidays to hit the trails with my sled. the resorts golf course is part of the countys trail system. I am told they also have groomed cross country trails...can't wait til we go back!

10/23/2007Staff was very rude. not very accommodating in anyway. upon arrival the shower had used soap and towels in it. the carpet was covered with dried mud. only one restaurant ...
Staff was very rude. Not very accommodating in anyway. Upon arrival the shower had used soap and towels in it. The carpet was covered with dried mud. Only one restaurant on the resort. The food was terrible. Being as this was out honeymoon, friends and family tried to have gifts delivered to the room. The hotel would not help in anyway. All gifts were turned away from the receiving area and reshipped back to the sender. Hotel needs updated. Best part of the trip was golfing the beautiful courses. They advertise 4 pools however hotel guests are only allowed to use the one in the hotel. Very disappointing trip.

Fox Hills is a great resort. You can stay in the villas or in the hotel. I have only been in the villas and they are great. It was a birthday my girlfriend will never forget! It's so nice! Only thing I wish that Michicot had more things to do in the Winter.. but then, if you want a cozy fireplace room, book it!
