  THis hotel was horrible. The staff were certainly not courteous or friendly. For the amount of money they charge, the could not even hire someone to maintain the rooms. The sheets were not changed. Instead the bed looks like it had been remade with the same sheets used by previous occupants. Believe me, we changed room twice and the result were the same. There was hair from someone else all over the sheet so I am certain of what I am saying. The carpets were just terrible and don't even get me started with the bathrooms. Please, if you are considering staying here. Find a different place. For the price they charge, you can get better service and room elsewhere. This Super 8 needs to be shut down. It is quite frankly a disgrace. I am certainly going to be reporting them. The lack of cleanliness is an issue especially since we all know how easy it is to get certain illnesses in dumps like this. This is a DUMP. Save your money. You'll be healthier and happier for it.

  My brother and our families went for a weekend getaway to Washington D.C. and stayed at the Super 8 in Manassas. It appears to be an older motor lodge that has been converted into a franchise. Our biggest issue was with the staff, extremely dry and rude. A simple "please" when asking for your driver's license and a "thank you" at the end of the check-in process would have made a huge difference. I had the pleasure of experiencing it twice, once for myself and again with my brother. They acted as if it were a bother to take my money.
  
  Other issues include that the only working ice machine was on the first floor (we were on the second) and the entire length of the hotel away.
  The towels were stained and there was a tremendous number of insects in the enclosed stairways. No elevator.

  The room was clean and the service staff friendly however the bed was hard, the walls thin and the pillows were like rocks.

  Older hotel, but clean. the staff at the desk were real nice. basic quicky breakfast. okay stay for the dollar.
