It is not often that I complain about a whole lot of anything, mainly because I don't feel that most times, the complaint is not investigated, and if it is, nothing seems to get done about it. However, there was one aspect of my stay, and that was that the employees did seem to take their job and responsibilities serious, and had a cheerful attitude while accomplishing their tasks. Now, back to adressing the negatives. The furnishings were in truly pitiful condition, i.e., the couch's upholstery was worn through in many spots, the bed sagged terribly towards the center nad wasn't comfortable in the least. The carpet should have been replaced sometime in the last 18 years or so, (this being the only exageration), the chairs, tables, something they used as an entertainment center, and the bedside tables and lamps all were in need of replacement.

07/27/2007We checked in about 30 min. before the check-in time and we had to wait for our room. then to make matters worse..the hallway is dark and smells ...
We checked in about 30 min. before the check-in time and we had to wait for our room. Then to make matters worse..the hallway is dark and smells really dank, our room smelled like mildew. The toilet was loose and leaked water all over the bathroom floor. We found black mold on the wall between the bathroom and the hotel room itself. As we were going to bed we found cockroaches in one of the beds. The A/C was so loud it kept my children and myself up for most of the night. When I complained, they switched me to another room on the bottom floor...Which to say the least wasn't any better. The bathmat in the tub was comming up and it was all nasty underneath, the tub would not drain. I had a non-smoking room, but all I could smell was smoke coming from somewhere. We booked this hotel for its pool as well as the fact that it had a microwave and a fridge, they told us the pool was closed when we got there, and that it'll be ready in the morning, it never was cleaned.....All I can say is pay the little extra, stay anywhere else but here.
