  The room was large, very clean and quite comfortable. The free breakfast, however left a lot to be desired. When we went to check it out in the morning, it was located in a nook that was smaller than some broom closets I've seen. The ledges where the cereal, toast and coffee were located was right at the entrance to a very small room with two or three tiny tables in it. There were two people trying to serve themselves from this setup when we arrived which made it totally impossible for anyone to enter the room where the tables were. While I realize that a european style breakfast is standard when a "free breakfast" is mentioned in the hotel's brochure, a larger venue with a little more variety would definitely be an improvement. We decided to skip it entirely and got a lovely breakfast in a family restaurant in Mattawa.

  For the month of June I had the opportunity to work in and stay in North Bay. The Super eight motel, it turned out, was the perfect place to base myself. The staff are friendly and accomodating. Management was friendly and available. My experience at the supper eight motel was very positive, my room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and crisp clean. I high recommend this facility for value and comfort.
