Are you travelling with your family dog? This motel is "pet" friendly and no restrictions on the weight or size of the animal like so many other places. That's it for the "good" comments. This motel has been fairly used and abused, and you instantly get the impression that they only do what they have to and are trying to keep their maintenance down to bare bones! Have you ever been "forced" to stay at a motel because it's late at night, all the other surrounding motels are booked or it is the only place that will accept your family pet? Well, this is one of those motels. The carpet in the room was spotted and filthy, only one lamp worked because 2 didn't have wall outlets to plug into and 2 others didn't have any bulbs in them. You could feel the box springs through the mattress on the bed, the tap water had a distinctive bad smell, and there were strains of long dark hair stuck to the back wall of the shower. After seeing all this, would go jump in the pool or sit in the hot tub? We were relieved to only have to spend one night in this place. This motel would do better to rent rooms by the hour!

We arrived late on 4/24/08. We received looks from a couple of young men in the lobby (we credit this to what we found out the next day). We checked in and went to our room. We we opened the door and we noticed an odor, but we were told that the rooms had been freshly painted one week before. We looked around and found the room to be dirty. There was dirt in the corners of the floor, the bath tub faucet was to short and you could see the piping and maybe a quarter of a roll of toilet paper with no extra. The pillows were STAINED and the bed was not much cleaner. No hot water for a shower, the tub was severly stained. We even checked out the pool area, not inviting at all. We went back to the front desk and told the night clerk there was no hot water. He said he could put us in another room, we ask could we check before we moved our personal belonging. We went to the 2nd room and "Oh my god" turned around and walked straight back out. Broken furniture, filth everywhere, this room was 100 times worse than the first, this one was not freshly painted. We gathered all of our belongings and packed the car and went back to the front desk and ask that our card be credited. On a scale from 1 to 5, -0.
