Like most folks, when I travel in Providence, I wind up either staying near the airport or in Providence. I found myself in need of a place to stay during a winter storm, and found my new favorite place. The rooms are very comfortable - the only tips I can offer is if you like your showers hot, you're better off not trying to bathe at peak hours like just before breakfast or when folks are going to be getting up for work. The desk staff are friendly and helpful. I have hearing loss, but most people wouldn't know. I like the fact that the staff actually look at you when they speak to you, and one desk clerk even knew Sign Language - it made me feel great to be able to communicate easily. I was surprised by the continental breakfast. Most places serve stale bread and cheap coffee. This place has three types of cereal, the coffee was good, and there was an assortment of bagels. They also offer a free local newspaper. It's a little touch, but a nice one. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to friends.

This motel is centrally located, easy to find and the room we stayed in was very clean as well as modern. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

06/18/2007The bedspread and blanket were worn, and didn't seem very clean. otherwise, it was clean and pleasant.
