  Pros: great food, choice of eight restaurants at two hotel complexes, quiet, no pool noise gets to rooms. good botanical plantings, great staff, many repeat customers,clean, safe, international guests. ...

  Pros: Great food, choice of eight restaurants at two hotel complexes, quiet, no pool noise gets to rooms. good botanical plantings, great staff, many repeat customers,clean, safe, international guests. Cons: Snorkeling not great. One tends to gain weight from so much food.Not the place for kids,take them to a place with a large noisy pool like the Gran Ventana in same complex. It was $* cheaper for two of us to fly into Santiago instead of Porta Plata. Took cab from Santiago airport right to hotel for $*US. Cheaper via crowded bus.

  This was our first time to this resort but it will not be our last....we loved it the people were great the food was great....our room was beautiful, ...

  This was our first time to this resort but it will not be our last....we loved it the people were great the food was great....our room was beautiful, we took this trip to getaway from all the noise and busy life....hotel Victoria helped us truly relax!!!!!! Thanks to all the staff
