Beard hairs in the sink and a surly staff are just two of the reasons to AVOID this place. We booked a nonsmoking room but they had us down for smoking. They had no nonsmoking rooms. We needed to be close to a nearby airport and it was late so we were We asked them to help find us another hotel; ; they replied. ""online travel website has your money,"" they lied. They pushed us to take a key. Desperate, we accepted but never moved in and immediately called online travel website as they suggested. Online travel website dialed the manager; he simply wanted our money and refused them. Online travel website would have found us another hotel if the staff agreed to refund our money. The manager knew he had us if we took the key.Thus the staff tricked us instead of being gentlemen. The bedclothes stunk of smoke. I did get to the corporate office of online travel website and reported their sleezy behavior. I am a teacher and my wife a minister so we are not difficult people.

We reserved this hotel mainly because they were a Pet Friendly hote, we reserved and pay with a credit card online . Whenwe got there the Front guest person, requested that they get a credit card ""just in case we order something"", no problem, we hand him my AMEX, next thing I know he was charging us $ per night for my dog, I stated that no-one have told us that there were a fee for a pet, My first reaction was to live and go across the street to the Regency but this person refused to return my credit card receipt. He stated that I have to be charge the $ make no difference if I go or not....in order to end the discussion I was willing to pay for one night only (my dog was having surgery and was going to be there only one night) The front desk in a very nasty way refused. I called online told them about the problem and they solve it. neverthe less I will never stay there.
