  This motel is a good value. You can tell the property is old, but for the price it is worth it. The free breakfast was decent, with make-your-own Belgian waffles. We stayed in room 186, in the older part of the motel. The non-poolside non-smoking double queen room was spacious enough for my family of five, which has three kids under 5 years old. There was enough area in front of the beds for a play area and plenty of space for our copious luggage. The bathtub/shower and floor were new, but the plumbing fixtures were old and loose. The carpet was good and the lighting was fine. The A/C worked. The room didn't smell any more than most motel rooms. The hallway did have an odor to it. The staff that we encountered were friendly and competent. Both times we went to the pool there were no towels, but with a phone call to the front desk they came to refill right away. The pool area was large. The old-style big rectangular pool showed its age but was fine. It is 3ft deep at one end and 4ft deep at the other. The whirlpool was large and was OK. There is plenty of space for lounging in the pool area, including heating lamps in one area. There are poolside rooms surrounding the vaulted-ceiling pool area. The pool times are 8 AM to 11 PM. Overall the motel is decent. I was happy with the relatively inexpensive price ($56 on a Friday night), waffles for breakfast, and family-friendly pool area. We got a good value.

  Good Hotel for the Price we Paid. Has complete Breakfast as any Franchise hotel would offer. The Best part is the Belgian Waffles. The Kids enjoyed it. The most fun was at the pool. The size of the pool is enormous. I think its the biggest pool in the area. The Spa was awesome with clean and warm water. I don't know why there is an average review about the hotel, but actually for us it was our money's worth.
