  We were looking for a quiet get away to celebrate our Anniversary. It was wonderful. Not your average hotel experience, this was sooo much better. I was nervous because I just wasn't sure not being a hotel chain but it was great. We were in Suite 3 and the attention to detail was wonderful.The rooms were so inviting. Beautiful rooms,comfy couches, loved the skylight and the down comforter on the bed. The freestanding fireplace kept us warm and cozy. The kitchen and living room over look the water and the Marina but because it was winter the river was drawn down. When I made the reservations the lady told me that so there were no surprises. There was a little goody package hanging on our door when we arrived. If you are looking for a staff to be at your beckoning call this would not be the place for you.There is staff available but they don't hover. We never needed anything so I can't really say how quick they respond to requests. Parking is an issue but we were given very good instructions on where to park. Their Restaurant was closed but there are several within walking distance. We are so glad that I took the chance because it was so worth it. The only down side was we had to leave,would love to hold up there all winter. Loved it! Loved it ! Loved it!
