Recently, on a vacation trip through Eastern Canada, we stayed at the Peachtree Inn in Kingston, Ontario. I had chosen it from their website, which described it in glowing terms and pictures. The choice turned out to be a huge mistake. The first problem was the layout of the motel. It is a linear room arrangement with the elevator at one end of a long corridor. Our room was at the far end and getting the luggage the entire length was not enjoyable. The motel room was far below standard for the price (more than $*/night). The furnishings were dated and aside from a recent paint job on the walls, the room was shabby. The motel promised wireless internet access but I was not able to connect, despite efforts from the front desk or a maintenance person who tried for a half hour to gain access. When I requested a credit for the lack of the promised connection, I was told that they had no other complaints so they could not give a credit. As I said previously, the furniture was worn. The mattress on the bed was the most uncomfortable that we had encountered during our three week foray. Sleeping on it was a restless experience. Breakfast is served in a large conference room with long conference style tables. The breakfast items were standard : cereal, muffins, donuts, coffee and an unidentifiable “juice”. All in all it is a place to avoid and I would never return.

We were 6 families meeting up for our Family Reunion. I was reluctant to stay in a 2 star hotel, but was pleasently surprized. The hotel rooms were clean & spacious. There was a complimentary continental breakfast included. The staff were very professional. Only small issue, was we could hear talking in the room next to us. This was not enough to spoil our stay. I highly recommend that you consider staying here.

I had to go to Kingston for a job interview and took my Mom along with me for company. We found this hotel online at the last minute. For the price that we paid I figured it would be a dive, but I was greatly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great. My room was very clean, and I liked the location of the hotel. There is a Kelsey?s next door as well, and we had supper there one night. I would definitely stay here again.

Just as my husband and I were going to bed we pulled back our covers and discovered that the sheets were not changed! The sheets were not tucked in, there was makeup on the sheets, and an unidentifiable substance on the pillow. They were very quick to move us. But when checking out, when asked if everything was ok, we mentioned the midnight room switch, and they totally blew us off. They didnt believe us and told us that they would have to verify the story with housekeeping. Not very impressed esspecailly for the amount of money spent,
