My family and I stayed just one night in order to be near the airport. Hotel was old style with rooms not updated. Faint odor of ""oldness"" in our room. Continental breakfast on the same lines as a Microtel but the ""breakfast"" area was TINY,TINY! Hotel located right on the road so a lot of road noise. TV was ancient and grainy.

My family and I stayed just one night in order to be near the airport. Hotel was old style with rooms not updated. Faint odor of ""oldness"" in our room. After reading the reviews and viewing the photos, I was confident that this hotel would be OK. Big mistake! I realized this as soon as I drove into the driveway of the motel, and so will you! The photos don't relay the foul odor of the rooms, or the less than pristine condition of the room interior. My room was infested with small ""ants"" which were darting around the sink, bathtub, and walls. When I went to the ""front desk"" (the ""Lobby"" is reminiscent of the Bates Motel in Physco, only smaller) to tell them about the bugs, the reply was - ""Sir, this hotel does not have BUGS! Those are small ants."" He then gave me a can of Lysol to spray on them! Later that evening, I found a Walgreens, and purchased Ant & Roach spray, just so I could try to get some sleep. The fumes were less than pleasant, but not much worse than the smell of the room itself. The rest of the ""facilities"" are also a joke. Avoid at all costs (pay more for a better place to stay), if you desire a good nights sleep in a clean, safe environment. BTW - in case you're unlucky enough to still book a room here, maybe it'll be the same one I had. I left the can of bug spray as a ""message"" to the staff. Maybe your luck will change, and the can is still there!

Whenever I need to go to the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area for business I always stay here. The rooms are extremely clean and the furniture is in excellent condition (not like some hotels where the furniture is beat up). The beds and pillows are super soft and comfortable! The bed linens give the feeling that they are crisp and clean. It can be a little bit noisey with the traffic because you are on a main drag but for the money it can't be beat! I stay here over and over again whenever my business takes me to Miami or Fort Lauderdale. The staff is super friendly, curteous and very accommodating. Breakfast is great with waffles, danishes, muffins, bagels, cereal, juices and coffee! Beautiful pool area also. It's apparent by their clean and manicured grounds, that this hotel goes above and beyond the call of duty!
