Although very convenient to Monticello, I would not stay here again. Our room had paper thin walls so we slept with the very noisy fan on. The room had a really moldy smell to it, also. The room was clean, but the tub appeared pretty dirty and needed a good scrubbing. The pool provided some fun and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was adequate for us.

We stayed 2 nights while we visited Monticello. The room was great. Clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was wonderful. I had an accident while visiting Monticello and needed to fax things to the hospital. The staff was so helpful. I couldn't thank them enough. You can't go wrong staying here.

05/11/2009Room was very clean, bed comfortable. breakfast was good. right off of interstate 64 and convenient to uva hospital. staff provided directions to area restaurants and sites.

I was not pleased with this property for 2 reasons. The first being that the walls were paper thin. We listened to our neighbors well into the wee hours of the night and awoke to them before dawn as well. Management was contacted and did request the occupants keep it down, however, the walls were simply paper thin. The second disappointment was the fact that the pool was not open as it had not been inspected yet. It was an indoor pool, so we were under the impression it was open year round, but apparently, that was not the case. I would stay at another Comfort Inn, but sorry to say, not this particular one.
