We were very pleased with this hotel. The front desk was friendly, the hotel was clean, the landscaping was beautiful. The cafe was easy to get to and if you join their Players Club you can get discounts on your meals. We had the buffet and it was wonderful. The large rooms were clean (the maids did a wonderful job) and we appreciated the large counter space in the bathroom. We would stay at the Saddle West again. The only thing it was lacking was hi-speed interenet.

We stayed at the Saddle West because it looked like a nice hotel and being that it had a pool that was a plus, or we thought. When the kids got out of the pool their eyes started burning because of all the chlorine! It was horrible! They stood outside with the breeze blowing in their eyes so that they could see and ease the burning. While we waited inside for, I think, about an hour to get seated! After we got seated though the food was good not as good as you'd find at a higher priced hotel, but it was good enough for all of us to eat and like enough that we go back every year that we are down. The rooms were nice a little dirty and a touch dark toward the evening and night even with the lights on, but other than that not bad at all. We would stay there again if we had to, but we would prefer a nicer hotel over this one.

We found bugs in both of the beds. The room was dirty and dingy. The shower had dirt and grime, which I had to wash down before I could shower. The shower had no water pressure and it made a horrible high pitched sqeeking noise. And to boot it was very expensive. If this were a $* a night hotel, that would be one thing. But we paid $* a night for a standard room. We will NEVER stay here again!
