I prepaid for a nights stay at the Jameson's. Upon arrival I was denied lodging because they were overbooked. I calmly asked the clerk if they had a plan to provide for this common occurance. I was told that is only for distressed travelers. I was told that even though my card had been charged it was a "ghost" one. I was told the prices for nearby hotels and offered a weak smile. I had driven 30 miles. I sat out in the parking lot steaming. I then called website. They resolved the issue in minutes and I was offered a room. Go figure. It really put a damper on my visit. I frequent this chain and enjoy the price but I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the treatment I received on this day.

We attended a wedding. This hotel location was very convenient. The parking is free in a nice well-lit lot. The desk clerk was extremely helpful. The hotel has wifi and you are given the code for it on checkin. The room was very nice: king bed, couch. chair, coffee table, TV, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathroom was fine. Coffee provided was better than most hotels provide. A safe was also provided in the room. Coat hangers could be conveniently completely removed from the rack for easy use. Continental breakfast was also available free of charge. It appeared to be a nice variety of choices. We were invited to the post wedding brunch, so we did not eat there. Otherwise we would have.

The two-night special rate is what got me, but the hotel turned out to be delightful as well as a great value. Though several miles from O'Hare, an on-call free shuttle was offered and immediately responsive. The shuttle also took me anywhere within five miles of the hotel, such as to the train for downtown Chicago, The suite and bed were very comfortable, and a good chocie of restaurants was within a few minutes' walk. The best feature was the staff, without exception cheerful, responsive, helpful.

thought for the price it was a great deal. breakfast was more than adequate with enough of a selection. very close to the train to downtown which was nice and the shuttle driver(dave) was very good as he offered to take us around if we wanted. the room was clean and having the separate (sleeping area) was nice. bath area was nice and the shower was hot with good pressure. front desk staff was very helpful and friendly with any questions we had. lots of places to shop and dine close by.

There wasn't anything wrong with the room, but there waasn't anything exceptional either. It was nice to have a separate sitting area, but the furniture was small and not very comfortable. It was great to have a small refrigerator and microwave. The free breakfast was fine, with cereal, eggs, waffles etc. There were plenty of towels and good water pressure. We weren't bothered by excess noise. So, it wasn't a bad place and actaully for the price it was pretty good.
