Front desk clerks were friendly and efficient, especially Rose(?). Prompt check-in and was greeted as a P/Club member. Room was nice and clean, bed extremely comfortable, and towels were fresh and fluffy. Restaurant served a delicious dinner and breakfast. Check-out was quick and efficient. Would come back and stay again.

I arrived at your hotel today around 12:30PM and was told no rooms were available until after 3PM, big crowd last night. I sat and worked in the lobby for most of the 2.5 hours until 3PM (One couple got a room at 2:45) When I went up to get my room at 3Pm, I said it was hard to believe that housekeeping just finished up all the rooms. Your clerk, ( NO Customer representatives) said that I never asked her to check with housekeeping-WOW! She saw me for 2.5 hours 20 feet in front of her. I told her I thought she would do that for a customer I also told her to check my Priority status and I was argumentive . Your next desk customer rep ( I believe Ms. Simon) was apologetic and helpful. I was given room n0 131. a full bed and no windows. I felt like I was in a dungeon, I said a king non smoking was reserved I went back to the desk Room 432 is satisfactory When I return to Columbus, I will stay some where else but if I had your job, I would want to know that your x customer service capability. I believe your day manager heard the 12:30 conversation, even though she saw me sitting 20 feet in front of her also. It must be policy not to accommodate an early check in. P.S. Your desk sign " Your Constant caring Friends at the holiday Inn Columbus Mississippi" may need reevaluation

EXCELLENT HOTEL
12/08/2007This hotel was very nice & clean. the lobby bar was great to unwind in. the staff is very helpful and polite. would definately recommend this facility.

Poor Remodeling

The sink in our room was close to falling from the counter. It was held up with a piece of 1/4" OSB. It had dropped about 1/2" from counter.
Outlets had no covers and were painted over.
A microwave and refrigerator were added, but no additional outlets. They used a power strip. Very unsafe.
Good nights rest, but the place may burn down or the sink may fall to the floor. -
I ENJOYED MY STAY HERE .

THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND THE FOOD IN THE HOTEL LOBBY WAS GREAT. I WOULD COME BACK AGAIN WHEN IN TOWN,
