  We spent two nights while on a trip to High Point and will definitely stay again - even though it is not the closest hotel to our destination. Above all, the staff was anxious to make our stay the best that it could be. Everyone was attentive and friendly. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and everything worked! The breakfast was wonderful, with a wide assortment of food including hot scrambled eggs and biscuits (and bacon and some sort of gravy for the meat-eaters out there.) The only thing that was a little inconvenient was the bathroom ventilation system is on a timer and comes on and off at predesignated times. These times did not necessarily correspond to the times when we were taking showers, so the bathroom got really steamy. All-in-all, it was an excellent stay.

  We'd been driving for many, many hours and decided it was best to get a room for the night and we're glad we got off the highway. We first stopped at the Hampton Inn which is immediately next door to the Holiday Inn Express to check the room rate. We were told it was $95.00 for the night and we decided to check the Holiday Inn Express. They were very accommodating and gave us a very reasonable room rate for the night so we decided to stay there. Continental breakfast was wonderful. We were able to get full without eating the same thing twice. Restaurants are close, some within walking distance. Gas is directly across the street. All of this is less than a block from the main highway. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Our room had a microwave, refridgerator and HBO. We would definitely stay again if we're ever going through that part of the state.

  Great staff, on our night they served pizza, pop, beer & wine for free. we asked tons of questions and they answered everyone.
