Dreams was a great hotel, rooms were spacious even though we ended up in a room with two beds for my husband and I. The staff was very friendly and they were able to offer us a king bed room the next day but we opted to not pack up and move. This resort is a bit different than any other all inlcusive we've ever stayed in that there was not a large buffet hall for most of the guests. They offer 3 actual menu based restaurants and one small buffet to dine in all day without any reservations, which was very convenient. However, if you prefer ALOT of selections from a buffet, this resort is not for you. A huge perk is 24 hour free room service! This is a smaller more private resort and October is a perfect time of year. The drive into downtown Cabo is a longer than we are use to but it's only $* per person each way through the hotel shuttle.

This resort could easily be a 5 star resort. with a little tweaking..unfortunately doesn't quite rate a 4 yet. First the good, The price was unbeatable $*.. 8 days for my husband, my 12 year old son and myself...inclluding airfare from LA! Three out of the five restaurants were very good. The room was nice, not quite as nice as the room at Dreams in Cancun. The view however was unbelievable! The bar service by the pool and the ocean was fabulous. The hotel was clean not spotless but clean and comfortable. Get involved in the day activites..not much but we had fun playing pool volleyball, putting, and beach VB. The evening entertainment was HORRIBLE! Other then one great beach party with a live band the rest of the week was lame and embarrassing. The Pirate show was held in a stark bright covention room ..staff dressed as pirates yelling arrrrgh. The next night the same staff with Mexican hats! No lights, no ambience at all! Please someone at Dreams read this.. at least have the sense to have these shows outside. Be prepared to pay for internet, lobster and anything other then the house wine. Horseback riding on the beach was fun. $35.00 for an hour. The pool was lovely and the beach was beautiful. Walk down to the Hilton to swim it is worth the walk! All and all it was a great trip because I have a great family. It was worth the price and we would go back but would not pay a penny more.

We spent a week at the Dreams Resort in Cabo. I went with my sister and her two teenage daughters (12,15) and my 70yr old Mother. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was very accomodating especially the entertainment staff (David % Miguel). This was my third stay at an all inclusive resort and my most enjoyable. The resort was just the right size and the food was better than average for an all inclusive. Wide variety of top shelf liquors was also appreciated. All in all a great experience for all of us.

It all started even before we set our foot on the Mexican soil. We had picked this hotel from the database of our timeshare exchange company. The moment we had the exchange go through we were bombarded with the phone calls from the hotel stating that we MUST pay all-inclusive fee in front (even though it was February and our travel was scheduled for July) or they'll cancel the exchange. It took a lot of calling to the exchange company's reps and their calling to the hotel to make sure they live us alone. Then they've sent us a welcome letter stating that they'll help with the transportation, for the fee, of course. We, unfortunately, agreed. As we landed in Cabo we realized that we could grab a taxi for the half of that price, but it was too late and the money paid for the transportation was not refundable. In the hotel we were constantly bombarded by the reps from the time share sales office giving us a ton of lame reasons as to why we MUST attend the time share sales presentation. To make sure we can have a nice rest of vacation we agreed for the 90 minutes of that torture. 90minutes has become 2 hours, but who counts, right? and after that, since we did not want to buy anything they've forgotten of all the perks they've promised to us to attend the presentation. I really did not care much being happy that they left us alone, but my wife was pretty ticked off because of that, but of course, you could not find anyone anymore ALL OF THE SUDDEN, to find out what happened to all those promises. There was a humongous diesel truck doing something right on the beach all week. Listen, maybe the time to do things on the beach is in the off season??? There were 3 weddings in the hotel. 2 on the 3rd of July and one on the 4th. So, with all the brides, grooms, bridesmaids and best men all over the place the hotel looked like a Zoo. Beisdes the fact that most of them and their invited friends were so drunk that instances of people being completely out of comtrol were just as common as the birds and lizards trying to snatch things out of your plate. Staff did not pay much attention to all of that. One thing about the staff. On their website they say that ALL, I repeat, ALL of the staff members are bilingual. Yea, right. The entertainment group weren't very good. They were so lame, people did not even want to bother to pay attention to them. Drinks in the bar were OK as long as you would tell the bartender Exactly! what you want.

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon to Dream, Cabo San Lucas. We had an excellent time. It was SO relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Anything and everything you wanted was right at your fingertips. The food was great. There was a wide veriety to choose from. We only had to wait one time for a table at dinner and that was at the Asian restaurant. I think breakfast at the Seaside Grill was the BEST. Dennis was our favorite bartender. He is located down at the beach bar. The room was as cold as Alaska in the winter. We LOVED it! The beach was also nice but you could not swim in the ocean because of the current. I wish I had taken more pictures of the ocean. The water was beautiful. This resort was a quiet, relaxing place to go to enjoy one another. We will definitely go back!!
