    The pool is too cold, the hot tub is too hot- and everything is not exactly clean. i do not recommend this motel.

    I have tried this hotel a couple of times since January 2008. The first time the internet service didn't work in my room. When I asked for help at the front desk they said they didn't know anything about it. The continental breakfast consisted of cold cereal. This was at 7:30 in the morning! The second time the heat didn't work in my room. When I asked for another room they said the temperate was the same in all of them. They didn't same to care at all. I will never stay here again.

    On a business trip over the weekend in the Martinsburg area, I booked this hotel for the price and location. The heat in the room barely worked, and there was so much iron in the water coming out of the shower head it looked like blood. Luckily I was able to shower on location of the work I was doing and clean myself up a little bit. I would suggest anyone in the area stay at a chain hotel such as a Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn and avoid this place if at all possible.

    This hotel is under new ownership and management. I had stayed there several years prior and it was sketchy at best.
    My recent stay was entirely different. The rooms and furnishings were updated and clean. An onsite restaurant had been added. Nothing fancy but convenient.
    The new management has instilled a sense of hospitality and friendliness in the staff.
    The housekeepers kept my room perfectly during my one week stay and the front desk responded quickly to my questions and requests.
    I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will not hesitate to return.
    Dollar for dollar, it's the best I've found in quite awhile.

    We wrote up all of these unpleasant experiences on two motel forms for general comments and for maintenance. The manager became abusive, demanding that we should have said something before checkout. We told him repeatedly that we had told the desk clerk and she did her best to help us, but he continued to make excuses. Finally he threatened us with calling the police if we did not leave immediately and humiliated us in front of other travelers who were about to check in. We never got a word of apology for the shoddy rooms, our inconvenience, and the abusive treatment. !
