In town for business, and stayed 1 night at AmericInn. First room (102) smelled like musty stinky feet. Moved to room 108 and it was much better. The front desk clerk was very nice and understanding when I asked to change rooms. Overall, the room was ok for the price, but the carpets could use either a good cleaning or full replacement. Not sure I would stay there again....would have to do research there were a couple of other 'mom & pop' places that didn't look half bad.

Other reviews had lead us to believe this might be a mistake but we were happy to see that there was improvements. They do need to address the mold in the bathrooms. The pool was very nice and the rooms were pretty clean.

The hotel is old, not too clean and there's ample mildew. My allergies never quit while we stayed there. They are expensive for what they offer and the staff was niether helpful nor friendly. I'd recommend staying in a nearby town if possible at a better hotel
