After seeing a roach on the wall by our bed and realizing that one of our wash cloths had not been washed, we decided not to try the complimentary breakfast. We waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk for us to check out- even after pressing the buzzer and calling for help. We will NEVER stay there again.

No microwave as advertised; guest laundry was not available - being used by hotel staff; king room has separate ""study"" with unsable desk and uncomfortable sofa and no TV or A/C. Expect an early morning call (before 8:00) each day to see if you want your room cleaned. The room was clean and had free internet access.

You often lower your expectations when you travel the Interstate, so we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a small motel. Chain literature, website showed no pool, but they have a new one which we enjoyed. The first room we were assigned hadn't been cleaned, but the next one was spacious with a very soft, comfortable mattress. It was quiet, backing onto the far side of a multi-screen movie theater parking lot. Convenient for travel west of Jackson (Natchez trace, Vicksburg). Good food within walking distance. Treated us respectfully. We will stay here again.
