This is a very nice Hampton Inn. It was recently renovated (in fact the third floor is still under construction) but despite a few workers around it was very quiet...mainly finishing work. Staff is friendly, pool is great, Roswell isn't that big so anywhere you stay is convenient. Very kid friendly, would definitely stay again.

Our stay started out good until just a few minutes after settling into our room. The hotel is new and apparently still under construction ( which isn't mentioned anywhere ). For several hours the first day and then again the second we had to deal with constant pounding directly on our walls and the roof of the building. Secure doors were left open for workers. Customer service was very poor especially when dealing with this issue as the manager seemed to take it personal and formed an attitude even at one point refusing to discuss the issue in an approriate manner. The 100% money back guarantee isn't attained without much argument and grief. The pool area was built with quite possibly the most slippery tile they could find. We watched countless people who were walking very carefully slip on the tiles repeatedly. The water pressue for the showers is very poor and the toilet lacked enough water in the tank even to flush liquids down with just one flush. The location is too far away from the center of town for the rates they charge compared to those closer into town.

I've stayed at probably a half dozen Hampton Inns and I've been impressed with every single one of them. The Roswell Hampton is really a great oasis with a friendly staff. I've noticed that Travel online seems to have a bias against the Hampton Inns - often giving them 2 stars. This place deserves 4 stars. I'd go out of my way to stay at a Hampton Inn.
