We stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of our honeymoon. The bungalow was steps from the beach (unlike some of the hotels in the region) and was a nice 10 min walk from town so it was secluded to a nicer part of the beach and was away from the noise and hustle and bustle. The bungalow was great- just beautiful with a ton of character. The beds were super comfy too. It had a jungle feeling from the sounds of wildlife outside (monkeys, iguanas, dogs etc). There were bugs, but it was pretty minor. The location of the bungalow and its unique style were well worth it! Keep food outside the bungalow and you will be better off we found the hard way. There are geckos too- but they eat the bugs so it was nice to have them there. It was an amazing experience being here and we had a wonderful time. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff were always so great. Lunch and dinner food were bland and plain so we ate elsewhere when we could (nearby Cala Luna had AMAZING food for dinner). The pool was nice and staff attentive. We would stay again in a heartbeat because of the unique and wonderful and comfortable experience. It is luxury for those who are up for minor adventure but those who expect a Four Seasons experience, I believe would be disappointed.

The staff makes you feel so welcome. Bungalows are private, outdoor shower, and this beautiful beach is only a few steps away from any room. Lots of monkeys, birds and other wildlife. Nearby 1,000 pound turtles lay eggs, crocodiles seen on mangrove tour. Pool is great and bar is friendly place. Ask for fresh mango juice with rum. Yum!
