We were attending a wedding and needed a hotel near by. This Super 8 was approximately 2 miles away. Given past experience when hoteling in Southeast Kansas, my expectations were low and I was dreading the trip. However, much to my surprise, the location was great. Continental breakfast was cereals, oatmeal, bagels, donuts, waffles, fruit, coffee and juice. XXX was a pleasure as a hostess each morning. The room was very clean and comfortable with no orders or signs of furniture wear. I did not get a chance to use the pool or workout rooms, but they looked good when I walked through. The free wi-fi was strong and up at all times. The pillows and sheets seemed new and comfortable. The desk staff was helpful and polite. There is a gas station and c-store with in walking distance, and a movie theater. I would gladly stay again and found the $69 per night rate to be a value for my needs.
