My husband and I wanted a quck get away so decided to go to Laughlin...the Golden Nugget is centrally located on the strip and the rooms are priced right....our room was clean however the view of the garage wasn't ideal so we had to keep our curtain pulled at all times...when we called the desk to inform them we had no shower curtain, they had a worker up to the room within 5 minutes with a new shower curtain and a kind apology....the steak house has the best prime rib we have ever had...if you go between the hours of 3-6, a $* prime rib dinner , can be had for @9.99...we had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed Wed to Fri in October and everything was xlnt. The people were nice. The hotel was quite nice. We got the river view room and it was worth it. LCD on the wall, the room and the bathroom seemed a bit larger than others. The machines were looser than our last stay at Primm. The restaurants were fine We had the buffet at the crab shack and it was fair. I like to play craps but, nobody else was on the tables. Of course being in the middle of the week, that's what I get. Between the penny slots and video poker we broke even. No complaints. To sum it up, we'll do it again. I'm curious about Harrah's. Haven't been there yet but I think next trip will be back at the Nugget. Thanks Travelocity 3PuttBob

I stayed with my son for two nights. The room was clean but nothing special. The AC was functional but kind of low velocity. There isn't much for a 16 year old to do, the pool is very small and you have to be 18 to rent jet skis. The casino is OK with a heavy emphasis on slots and video poker, however the staff was all very helpful. I would stay there again, unless I can find a place with a bigger pool.

The staff was excellent and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable for sleeping, but not set up for someone to spend a lot of time in the room. Not a lot of amenities to the standard room. There was no refrigerator available and the TV had limited stations and very poor reception. Info on the hotel states in-room movies, but I could never get to a screen to review and/or order a movie. Our room (2 queens) was crowded with 2 adults and one chlid. Hotel is not very kid friendly. Not much for a young child to do. So if you're not a gambler or if you have a young child with you, there's not much to do. However, for adults it is an excellent location! The restaurants in the hotel are great, with average prices. As a family, we would not stay here again; however, as a couple, we probably would.
