Horror- horror- horror! Our room was changed after I called to complain the toilet was filthy with feces, area around sofa and bed not vacuumed, sheets touching floor-not properly tucked (new policy, it’s not mandated anymore??) as the manager explained and inspected first hand. However, the second room, for a second time the maintenance person had to vacuum around the sofa and certain areas of the living room. The toilet had pubic hair, shower curtain infested with mold, cigarette lingering because the smoking floor was below us and it came thru the vent in the bathroom. I thought I was in a r motel room. This should have been a stress free weekend for my husband who is battling cancer and scleroderma. I did not or could not change hotels due to the holiday weekend. I requested for disinfectant, but the manager refused and informed me the staff had to do it. Sadly, the cleaning person was overwhelmed; handicap and I didn’t want to burden him. I took it upon myself to purchase a disinfectant and bleach cleaner, in order to do it myself, as I showed the manager when we check-out this morning. She just offered her apologies and sent us on our way. My stomach is still upset with this experience, which has been forwarded to all I am able to reach.

we stayed at Mohegan Sun Casino for 2 nights and had so much fun we wanted to extend our trip another day but they had no openings. we drove by the Days Inn and it looked ok from outside and have stayed in other days inn hotels in the past so i thought it would be ok.. I checked in and went up to drop off our luggage, the room was musty and the drapes were hanging off the rod and the furniture was shabby. I asked for another room, and when i got to the second room the door was ajar, there were old pizza boxes in the room and the bed was unmade. I went down to the desk and checked right out! The guy was very nice and apologized and gave me a refund with out a problem. We found a beautiful hotel in North Stonington called Bellissimo Grande........wicked nice and its only 79.00 if you book it through Foxwoods Casino. Its 3 miles away on Rt 2

This hotel was kind of odd- the "suites" were kind of cobbled together and were not very inviting and very minimalist in a sad way. Old hotel with a try at updating. A bit smelly ---kind of mildew odor. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful though. The Ramada across the street had the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at so this was a happy thing. No big complaints---just a bit of an odd place. And the price was right for a place to simply spend the night.

We had a wonderful stay at the Days inn and suites. The hotel is located off I-95 and close to everything, casinos and mystic. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious with excellent housekeeping staff. Their suites have a couch/seating area. There is a fridge and microwave in the suite, which is really convenient for a long stay! (There is a Stop and Shop and Walmart right across the road to stock up on drinks and snacks.) We were visiting mystic area for the first time and the front desk was very helpful in giving us directions to the attractions in the area and also suggested some really good inexpensive sea food restaurants. Also, we were lucky to make some money at the Casino so overall the trip and the hotel tured out very good and lucky.

The Queen Suite looked like it could stand a major face lift. Dings in the walls. Dirty Stove. Only one pot to cook and it was scrathced and dirty. Refrig door didn't close caused inside Freezer to ice over. Very uncomfortable Sofa in the living room area- no other comfortable chairs to sit in. Bedroom was OK. Bathroom was very small with not area to store personal articles such as: toothbrush - comb - razor - ect. Also their were not glasses at the bathroom sink. Overalll not a very good experiance for the price of the Queen Suite $ per night Friday & Saturday.
