We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute. We can not thank the resort staff enough for their generous hospitality. Every request made was answered with ""it would be my pleasure."" They truly want you do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. Probably the best part about Dreams resorts is they do not use wrist bands and you can eat at any of the restaurants you want to. We never waited more than 15 minutes at a restaurant to be seated and that was only on 1 night we had to wait. Also, only one restaurant is a buffet, everything else is table service and we loved it. The food was great, the resort was very clean, and the pool was outstanding! We look forward to our next trip to the Dominican and will definitely stay at a Dreams resort.

If you're a no frills person just looking for a beautiful tropical location for a vacation, this is it. The pool is large, but never gets any deeper than 3 feet. There are serious rocks in the water across a large section of the beach, but it is safe for bare feet in the area around the water trampoline. The casino is pretty small, but the cashier is a good place to get change if you're looking to break large bills. The nightclub is just OK also, but is large and could be fun with the right group of people. The staff is very willing to help, but many have no English at all, so even knowing a few Spanish words really helps. The restaurants were all very nice, but we were there about a week before peak season and half the restaurants were closed each night. 24 hour room service is really nice, but the menu is very limited. Champagne is an extra charge if you have it delivered to the room. The resort appeared to let vendors onto the property one or two nights a week and they were very aggressive and a little annoying. We jacked up the AC in our room and the AC unit condensation started to leak through the ceiling about halfway through the trip. BRING BUG SPRAY!!! This a VERY family-friendly resort with lots of kids activities, but some of the restaurants are designated kid-free zones. Despite my criticism, overall we had a great time and would recommend this resort to a friend, but might try somewhere else if we ever go back to the Dominican Republic.

Yes it is true that the vendors were extremely annoying and at times rude on the resort. The vendors should be left outside of the premises. Food wasn't good. Food was recycled night after night at the World Cafe(Ive been in the Food Industry for most of my adult life, so I know)Food was reheated,veggies weren't fresh,kitchen staff were inappropriate. Best food that I recommend are the cheeseburgers with fries that you can request until 3am..they were delicious. One more thing, the dj at the disco didn't play music to keep the crowd going. Only cheap liquor available. Door to my room was very diffucult to close/open, seemed to be off the hinges a little, room had musty smell, leak in room for a few days but was immediatley repaired when we asked, soap in room never replaced, but always had fresh towels & clean room.

Traveled with 9 people to Punta Cana with minimal expectations. Had a vacation to remember at Dreams. Everything was absolutely great. Food,beaches pool,restaurants,and especially the staff.Always felt safe no matter what time it was. We are all planning to return with even more people next year, The pool was the icing on the cake.
