  This is a good, basic hotel at a very reasonable cost for London. It is not the Ritz, but does not pretend to be. The rooms are small, but so are 90% of all London hotels. There is an elevator and each room has TV, shower, hair dryer, and soap and shampoo. The continental breakfast is as good as any. The big plus is that it is only 2 streets from Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express. The staff is helpful.

  this hotel was conveniently located and very clean. The breakfast was VERY expensive, and nothing more than what you would get at any of the other chains FREE. We tried it once and were extremely disappointed. The night clerk was impatient with people on the telephone, and not polite with us. It was late and we were anxious to get unpacked and to bed. He certainly didn't make us feel welcome. I guess I'd recommend this hotel for the value, but go to the local restaurants for food.
