As a single female traveler, my main concern in safety. not only did I feel safe but the staff of the Inn made me feel very welcome. It wasn't what I expected, it was better. It's close to Iowa City and I was able to walk there in about 20 minutes. The rooms were clean and decently appointed. This isn't a 5 start place, but for the price it was good. I loved not having to fight lines for breakfast as it was brought to my door. I didn't try the flight simulator or the pool, but the wireless internet was adequate for my use. A person who might need more speed might find it a little slow. All in all, the Alexis Park Inn is a great affordable place to stay. I would highly recommend it!

This turned out to be a wonderful experience. Great room, super staff, the room themes are aviation oriented and just terrific with many pictures and memorbilia to support the themes. Each suite has an individualized theme and decore to fit. The continental brkfst served at your door is a very nice touch. There is an airplane simulator for you to fly or try and the classic movies abouta aviation were great with the crowd like being in your liviing room. Snacks and refreshment( a little beer was available) for the movie. Just a great experience. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Due to a health condition riding is extremely difficult for me. At check-in I requested an upgrade to a spa room hoping the tub would ease away some of my pain. Not only did that help but the suite we were assigned was so delightful we canceled our plans for the next lap of our trip and stayed a second day. Everything was very clean, the suites were well designed and 'user friendly' and the staff was super helpful. The personally delivered breakfast each morning was an absolute treat.We'll return here again. "

Due to a health condition riding is extremely difficult for me. At check-in I requested an upgrade to a spa room hoping the tub would ease away some of my pain. Not only did that help but the suite we were assigned was so delightful we canceled our plans for the next lap of our trip and stayed a second day. Everything was very clean, the suites were well designed and 'user friendly' and the staff was super helpful. The personally delivered breakfast each morning was an absolute treat. We'll return here again.

My wife and I have stayed at the Alexis Park Inn and Suites on several occasions. The aviation theme is great! Many of the suites have been decorated in themes of particular eras of aviation. Very interesting and historic. Many of the suites also have hot tubs, great for relaxing after a long trip or during a weekend getaway.
