This hotel is gentle on the wallet and makes no effort to disguise this. It's clearly a dated hotel that feels a bit shabby. But the rooms are clean, the non-smoking rooms are truly non-smoking. The staff is friendly and the continental breakfast is more than just bagels and coffee; it includes cereal,oatmeal and a waffle iron. There's a place to sit so you can eat breakfast at a table and not in your room if you'd like. There's a computer available for those who need to check email or check in for flights.It's conveniently located near everything. And the lack of frills will encourage the sluggish to get out and see the beauty that is the Missoula valley.

05/08/2009Clean, spacious, "fresh" rooms, fantastic beds, and super location for exploring downtown. friendly, helpful staff, and the covered parking is nice. an exceptional value!

We weren't planning on spending all day in our hotel room, so we didn't need anything fancy. What we did get was a clean room, hot shower, and comfortable bed at a reasonable price. We spend most of our time uptown when we visit Missoula, so the location is absolutely perfect.

This is a dated property, so if you are looking for frills, look elsewhere. If you like convenience, friendly service, great cookies and great value this is the place! Quiet, close to many great eating places, rides to the U of M games and again Great Cookies.

The hotel was easily located,quiet, comfortable, clean and the staff very friendly- elevator to the upper floors, rooms were truly non-smoking (without the smell of recent smoking) nice area for breakfast, good variety of foods - great value. Will stay again when traveling that way.
