This hotel is perfect for the person or family traveling through: clean, neat, comfortable, and welcoming. I arrived about 7:15, was checked in very quickly, and offered coffee and cookies available in the lobby. My room (single King) was on the third, top floor, and was huge for one person. Room was very clean and well maintained. There was new carpet on the floor that kept the door from closing with a little help, but I can live with that one. A goodie bag with an apple, popcorn pack, and tea bags was on the desk. The room had a small microwave and a good-sized fridge. Bathroom was fully stocked and clean. I had a great night sleep. Breakfast was standard for HIE and very good. All-in-all a very good hotel. The owners/operators do care about the hotel and how it is receive by the public. If you're traveling I-81 and need a place to stay, this place is great.

we have stayed in Holiday Inn Express before and have loved it this one was terrible, over booked for staff they ran out of hot water in (am) The breakfast was horrible they had these egg/pancake things that were so bad you didnt know what to do with them, no muffins, no bagels or fruit over crowded and just not enough of anything. Food was presented in packages not out for you to easily get. Room was very small.
