  Close to Chattanooga (about an hour, depending on where you're headed). The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean. The hotel is several years old, but it's still neat and clean. It was quiet, which was impressive given it's location so close to the interstate. Continental breakfast was varied and hot, although the coffee was not so tasty.
  
  I had to go downstairs to request a ethernet cable, because there wasn't one in my room, but that was the only negative to the stay.

  We were very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They did an excellent job anticipating all of our needs. The rooms were immaculate, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. Any time that we return to the Ft. Payne area, we will definitly stay at the Hampton Inn.
