Rooms are dirty. Toilets dont flush properly. You have to get your own batteries for the remote. Smoke detectors chirp and wake you up at night because theyre too cheap to get batteries. They let undocumented workers into your room when youre out who leave your door open. No security for your stuff. When management is confronted with concerns the tell you to stick it and they can do as they please because you signed the receipt. You have to take all your stuff with you when you leave for the day to feel secure. Palmetto roaches in the room the size of quarters. Tub drains are clogged. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT WANT TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS !!! Their website is a lie to lure you in. The only way they make money is when the NASCAR race is in town and people have no choice but to stay there. Regular rate is $* a week but goes to $*/night when the race is in town!!! They also maybe putting the used towels back on the rack when youre out because they are a litttle damp when you use them again. Have a wonderful stay there like I have. I would have sued them but I didnt want the headache.

This hotel is more like a Flea Bag Motel. They are very unclean. You can Smell the problems as soon as you enter the stinky rooms. I was shocked when Both Beds had DIRTY SHEETS! I even was leaving when the cleaning folks came in and Made the Bed with the same Dirty Sheets. They Did NOT Change Sheets. Worse Yet, the Next Day, they Changed the Sheets, but Changed them to someone Else's Dirty Sheets. We Found HAIR (Not Ours) and Outside Dirt (Leaves, Bugs) inside the Bedsheets. I had to Sleep Ontop of the Mattresses it was so filthy and the Front Desk was no help, they are short staffed and have nasty attitudes and not much help. They are strict about Check Out Times and Don't give extensions. There is no fresh Breakfast. They had Microwave Sausage Biscuits and Old Coffee and Juice from a jug that was hard to find. No Bagels, No Sweet-N-Low, or Artificial Sweeteners, Nothing extra. The Hotel Didn't have Tissue/Kleenex and we had to ask for it! Be Carefult Not to give your Credit Card if you prepay on Travel agency. The Cleaning Staff Barged in while I was in the Shower and that was weird. The Electrical Outlets are sparse and don't hold the plugs in place. My Computer kept being unplugged because the Outlet was slipping the plug. Overall, this was a bad experience for my family. Avoid if possible.

When I went on the website to reserve my room at the Budget Inn they advertised that the hotel had been remodeled and showed pictures of beautiful rooms that were clean with modern accomodations, when I arrived the room had dirty worn carpet, stained walls & tub and there was nothing indicative of being remodeled anywhere. This has been the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The website is a lie!!

The motel is about 9 miles fromt the Talladega Speedway on the edge of Talladega a quaint Southern town of 17,000. They have free wireless internet. The restaurant is ope for lunch and dinner and is so so. The motel is a budget property, but it's clean and for the price- a good deal. I will stay there again if I have to go back to Talladega.
