very much like this hotel. the best in salem. stayed several times even though i live in salem. they have smoking rooms which is what i appreciate. walking distance to everything downtown. nice restaurant however it does close early so if you like to party make sure you have other plans in mind. front desk is always friendly and overall the price is great for the hotel.

I grew up in salem and was looking forward to a luxury hotel. Check in was smooth and the employee was extremly friendly. The lobby was extra large and elegantly decorated. Our room was nice and big and had many amenities to offer. Internet access was free and they had a business center for guest use, i never used but. The beds were somewhere in the middle when it comes to softness/hardness. The breakfast buffett, which was included was excellent!! Check out was a breeze and the coffee stand in the lobby was great. They also offer fine dining at there onsite resturant, Bentley's Grill i believe was the name. I highly recommend them!! Excellent food, superb wine selection. All and all i truly loved our time at the hotel and will stay again and recommend to my family and friends. The downtown salem area is very nice and alot of great little shops within walking distance of the hotel.

My wife and I love to get away for weekends a couple of times a year. We had not been in Salem in awhile and thought it was time. The Phoenix Grand was recommended to us so we called and booked one night. We parked in the free parking and were pretty impressed when we got up to the lobby. Our room was excellent, the Bentley was a wonderful place for dinner and drinks. The hotel is within walking distance of so many interesting parts of downtown. We ended up staying an extra night we were having such a good time. I would recommed this hotel to anyone coming to Salem!

This was one of my best expereinces in a hotel I have ever had and it was in Salem,Or. The customer service was outstanding, from check-in to check-out and everything in-between. My room was very beautifully decorated and very clean. It had everthing I needed including high speed internet, great separation from the sitting area and the bedroom, a nice wet bar for entertaining and great room service.The pool was warm and inviting and also very clean. As was the fittness room. The complimentary breakfast was incredible. You had everything anyone and could want for breakfast. The location couldn't get any better, right downtown Salem. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown Salem has to offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I will be back!!

I had to travel to Salem to do some consultant work in the area. This was also my first experience in Salem. The hotel was beautiful! I was completely blown away by the service of the staff, the amenities in the sleeping rooms and the "extras" they don't charge for- like breakfast, internet, fitness center, parking and use of the fax machine. In a hotel of this stature- most hotels charge you for everything! I was also totally impressed with the staff at the front desk. There wasn't anything I needed they couldn't do for me right away. As a business traveler I look for ease, comfort and service- this place has it all!! Thank you! I'll be back!
